The Graduate Medical Education Specialist provides programmatic support for all DGSOM accredited and non-accredited GME programs across the UCLA Health system and serves various roles in the institutional GME office, providing central services to approximately 100 training programs and over 1,000 trainees (MD interns, residents, and fellows), spanning training sites at UCLA and all major affiliates (VA, County, Cedars, Kaiser). You will partner with faculty in the operational and financial management of the program(s) and/or initiative(s) to ensure an optimal training environment for learners. You are responsible for a wide range of programmatic and operational activities including but not limited to designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating, and supporting an education program(s) in compliance with organizational objectives and requirements. The Graduate Medical Education Specialist supports learners, program coordinators, program directors and GME leadership in areas such as teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment, and evaluations. You will coordinate all activities associated with ongoing administration of the education program(s) and/or initiative(s).
Salary Range: $68800 - $141000/Annually

Required:- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
- 2-3 years experience coordinating an educational program(s) in an academic medical center.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ACGME accreditation process and institutional requirements.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of graduate medical education programs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and web based applications.
