This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Who We Are

HII Mission Technologies (HII-MT) is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist in SIGINT operations with a focus in Space and Counterspace operations. This position supports a US government customer in Wiesbaden, Germany with direct ties to CONUS based partners and capabilities.  The position requires skilled analytical experience and an understanding of Multi-INT capabilities, especially as it relates to Space and Counterspace operations.  In this role you will support by determining capabilities, conducting critical thinking, and providing technical analysis of foreign military space and signals capabilities.         

 

  • A 60-90 day training period at the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command is included prior to beginning work in Germany.
  • Employee will be eligible for Living Quarters Allowance and dependent Education Allowance in Germany.

What We Are Looking For

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years of experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
  • An understanding of signals and signal characteristics, specifically as it relates to satellite communications.  Strong experience using SIGINT tools is required.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing USG and DOD intelligence systems, databases, and tools, with the ability to provide technical expertise in space intelligence analytics and intelligence data analysis.
  • Must be familiar with PULSE.  Must be familiar with major SIGINT policies.  
  • Willing to assist in developing new technologies to eliminate or neutralize enemy networks that threaten U.S. forces in the USEUCOM and AFRICOM AORs.
  • Familiarity with analyzing intercepted messages to identify operational patterns, actions, or motives.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing professional written products, assessments, and graphics for the intelligence community.
  • Experience in synthesizing information and correlating data into actionable forms for leaders and decision makers.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects or requirements simultaneously.
  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain access to NSANet.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • 12+ years’ experience as USG or DOD intelligence analyst with 2+ years focused on space related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with adversary technology platforms, doctrine, and motives as it pertains to space and counterspace warfare.
  • Experience building, updating, and managing information databases.
  • Experience in foreign government systems and capabilities as it pertains to US space operations.
  • Former military experience and professional training courses in related intelligence disciplines.
  • Familiarity with DIA Writing Style.
  • Previous experience briefing senior leadership at the General Officer, Flag Officer, or Senior Executive Service level.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
