About the Role

We are looking for a skilled startup operator with experience building and leading clinical operations. Ideally you have done clinical operations for an early stage mental health or technology-enabled services company before. You are a strong operator who is skilled at:

• Executing discovery through various methods to gather context and understanding about your end users
• Pairing current state assessments with business context to shape what is built now vs six months from now vs three years from now
• Balancing the needs of patients, multiple internal teams, and the overall business to prioritize and execute effectively
• Identifying, collaborating with, and leading through influence with cross-functional stakeholders like Care Team leaders, Product, People, etc.
• Shifting from tactical day-to-day execution to more strategic, long-term planning

We’re looking for a candidate with leadership experience that will enable them to operate autonomously once onboarded but also has the humility to speak up when support is needed. In your first 6-12 months at Flourish, you will be focused largely on execution and helping to build the infrastructure needed for our Care Team to scale effectively.

Lastly, but most importantly, you care about our patient population: adolescents and transitional aged youth with Medicaid who have serious mental health illness. Many of our patients have recently been hospitalized after a suicide attempt, behavioral outburst, first episode psychosis, or have grown up in foster care.

You will report to the VP, Clinical Operations.

You Will:

• Develop and implement Clinical Operations structure and standard work, including the process for needs assessment, needs roadmapping, building and improving SOPs, gathering feedback, and iterating on operational workflows
• Demonstrate excellent people leadership and performance management skills through a balance of empathy and accountability, both through direct report oversight and through influence
• Embrace startup adaptability including the ability to anticipate business needs, adapt effectively to rapidly changing priorities, and viewing challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow
• Help lead excellent project management including identifying appropriate stakeholders, distributing work, setting expectations with collaborators, maintaining accessible and updated documentation, and effectively communicating updates to stakeholders
• Collaborate with the VP, Clinical Operations and VP, Product on product <> operations strategy, prioritization, roadmapping, needs assessment and user experience research
• Help set the strategic vision for piloting and implementing newly developed clinical programming and care model elements, including effective change management planning and cross-functional team training
• Support oversight of our care model outcomes by building effective to enable our clinical and non-clinical leaders

Role Requirements:

• Professional with 10+ years of relevant experience, including:
  • 5+ years of clinical operations experience
  • 10+ years of management experience
