Sr Audio Video Engineer (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

The Senior Audio Video Engineer is responsible for designing, supporting, implementing, and maintaining audio and video systems for Insulet’s Global Office Spaces. The Senior Audio Video Engineer maintains and administers video conferencing platforms and works with the business to support large meetings using the meeting technology at Insulet. They test and evaluate presentation and video systems for optimum performance in support of ongoing and future business needs and work with vendors to get the best services available. Manage collaboration contracts for WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft and AV system support services. Support global expansion by designing and implementing conferencing systems for new office builds.  Oversee audio and video services globally to support rapid company expansion.  Work closely with the network engineering and infrastructure systems teams on design, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to develop technical audio and video solutions and their framework.
• Design and deploy audio and video infrastructures in new and existing offices worldwide.
• Proactive management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical analysis of the global AV infrastructure.
• Deevelopment and implement video and collaboration technology roadmaps globally.
• Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose audio and video problems.
• Design and test audio and video systems in support of disaster recovery and BCP initiatives.
• Work with the collaboration team to implement changes to meet current and future business and regulatory compliance needs across Insulet’s ever-expanding global footprint.
• Work closely with IT leadership, Facilities, and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
• Stay abreast of how video and collaboration infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors and the latest products and solutions.
• Consult with business units to provide workable, creative solutions, and problem resolution.
• Manage worldwide implementation and maintenance vendors to obtain the best technical services.

Education and Experience:

• Industry recognized certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years related work experience.    

Skills/Competencies:

• Must be able to set up audio and video systems including physical installation.
• Cisco Room OS and room device management.
• Meeting room design and use.
• Cisco WebEx and WebEx Teams experience.
• Zoom management and troubleshooting experience.
• Microsoft Teams management experience.
• Working knowledge of video conferencing protocols.
• Working knowledge of QoS and its use in Cisco voice and video.
• Switching and routing a plus.
• Create, update, and maintain documentation, for example, system and network diagrams, runbooks, and inventory.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds.
• Domestic and Global travel required – up to 20%.

(Hybrid): This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days).

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,825.00 - $140,737.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
