- The Senior Manager, Global AR position will support the Director Global SSC in managing all of the company’s accounts receivable activity across regions. Responsibilities include partnering with Shared Service Center Leaders in managing activities, assignments and processes that the AR Team follows.
- The Senior Manager, Global AR will continue to partner with the Director Global SSC and the VP, FS&T to evaluate all AR activities globally. This will include standardizing policies and procedures globally to enable automation. Ultimately, this will drive the most effective and lean global AR organization.
- The Senior Manager, Global AR will manage his/her direct reports and will be developing their knowledge and work together on reaching the goals.
- The Senior Manager, Global AR role is to coach and guide his/her direct reports and develop the relationship of his/her team members with their business partners such as the Global Credit, Supply Chain, Sales, Tax and LTC GPO Committee.
- Reviewing all AR activities such as Billing, Cash application, Sales Rebates and third party agent commissions, Miscellaneous accounts for the assigned business area to assure compliance with AR guidelines, to maximize overall efficiency and create added value by improving current processes.
- Recommends actions to be taken and enhance its overall process efficiency, in order to limit the business unit’s risk due to late cash application, corrections of invoices and rebates issuances.
- Will present AR results and overall global KPI’s, discuss particular issues at internal meetings to ensure alignment and to manage expectations of internal customers.
A Day In The Life:
- Responsible for streamlining AR processes and team within the different regions.
- Monitor current KPI’s and ensure the appropriate KPI’s are in place to identify and solution process inefficiencies.
- Support the Director of SSC in the ongoing evaluation and optimizing organizational structure of a Global AR Team.
- Responsible to evaluate all resources that touch the AR process and create an efficient Global AR team.
- Participate in the evaluation of structure changes.
- Develop and maintain continuous dialog with all levels of our internal customers such as Credit, Supply Chain Managers, local Finance teams, TAX, HR.
- Review, identify and implement appropriate process to ensure AR’s best results.
- Act as prime contact for internal audits.
- Maintain knowledge of and recommend technical improvements to AR related to systems and processes.
- Support automation tools and improvement of existing automation.
- Review, maintain, and recommend/implement changes to AR policy and procedures as necessary to ensure global standardization.
- Partner with Shared Service Center Leadership to continuously train the team of AR Analysts to drive the improvement of the current activities and create efficiencies for the Global AR team.
- Act as internal focal point for all AR escalated matters and advise the business organization on actions to be taken in order to improve results and processes such as pricing activities.
- Act as prime contact with Sales, Business, Order Fulfillment and Credit and facilitate strategic discussions such as service offerings, joint objectives
- Serve on global AR teams meetings as needed to support AR global procedures and processes.
- Lead and mentor direct reports to ensure efficient and effective delivery of efficient processes in accordance with corporate policies and compliance requirements for AR.
- Build and develop a high performing global team with globally benchmarked role profiles, team skills gap assessment and appropriate recruitment plan.
- Drive and reward a culture of performance within the team, ensuring the company’s performance management process is embedded and delivered within the timelines. This includes ensuring formal performance reviews are conducted to provide real-time affirmative and constructive feedback that is linked to clearly defined and SMART objectives and goals and development plans are implemented to facilitate career path aspirations.
- Preparation and management of global AR budget to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet process goals.
You Bring this Value:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Business administration, accounting, or finance preferred.
- Typically 12+ years of experience in finance and strong evidence of leading an operational finance department (for example: Financial Shared Service function, managing a closing process or finance director) in an organization with similar operational scale and geographic footp
