About the role
<p><b><span>Context</span></b></p><p>NXP’s high performance mixed signal technologies for Automotive applications create new ways to make cars cleaner, safer, more comfortable, and more fun. Analog and Automotive Embedded Systems (AAES) Business Unit’s mission is to provide a broad portfolio of differentiated analog, mixed-signal, wireless, and energy management solutions that enable our customers to realize compelling green, safe, connected, and secure products for the automotive market. The engineering teams are creating innovating applications with high level of integration of analog mixed-signal and power electronic.</p><p>The ESD/EMC (ElectroStatic Discharge / ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) team designs, integrates and characterizes solutions to guarantee the performance of integrated circuits submitted to ElectroStatic and ElectroMagnetic aggressions.</p><p>The ESD/EMC team develops solutions (device, architecture, design, models, application) to optimize the electromagnetic and transient behaviors of integrated circuits for different products lines. Both EMC and ESD characterizations of ICs and embedded systems (battery management, power management, sensor, transceivers, electrification. …) are performed on site, in state-of-the-art laboratories. With more than 100 patents granted the team focus on innovation with international collaborations.</p><p>In this context, you will join the ESD EMC team as a validation technician to characterize the ESD performances of integrated circuits.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Your Responsibilities</span></b></p><p></p><p>As an experienced EMC/ESD technician, you will:</p><ul><li>Bee responsible for EMC & ESD characterization of complex analog Integrated Circuit</li><li>Perform ESD testing (ISO10605, IEC61000-4-2, SAE J2962, TLP and vf-TLP) and EMC campaigns (IEC61967, IEC62132, ISO 11452, CISPR25) on automotive integrated circuits,</li><li>Set up EMC / ESD test benches</li><li>Work closely with <span>validation/application</span> engineers to build EMC/ESD test setup,</li><li>Follow standards, integrated circuit requirements and EMC/ESD test plan,</li><li>Write Technical EMC reports,</li><li>Contribute with the project team to the investigation and implementation of solutions to improve the EMC/ESD performance of the products.</li><li>Collaborate with international teams and different technical groups within NXP</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Your Profile</span></b></p><ul><li>Technician degree in electronic engineering, or equivalent,</li><li>At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar position – preferable, but not a blocker,</li><li>Experience in Electrostatic discharge (ESD) and Electromagnetic measurements (EMC) is required.</li><li>Familiar with measurement equipment: scope, RF generator, EMI receiver, Spectrum analyser, …</li><li>Knowledge in instrumentation</li><li>Knowledge of development board-design tools (schematics + layout) is an advantage,</li><li>Good level in English (Tests reports are written in English)</li><li>Rigorous and details oriented,</li><li>Team player</li><li>Good communication in multicultural environment</li><li>Highly motivated</li></ul><p></p><p><a href="https://www.nxp.com/company/about-nxp/worldwide-locations/france:FRANCE" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">More information about NXP in France...</a></p><p></p>#LI-8e4d
