About the Role

You will work directly for the CSO and are an experienced security leader looking to run our security operations and technology team.  You will oversee and enhance our existing global security capability, delivering value and protecting Cloudflare's data and systems while delivering consistent and amazing service back to our customers. This role will oversee the detection and response of all attacks including managing all third-party security tools and core security technologies.  

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years running a global security operations team
• Minimum 10 years running third party security tools and core security technologies
• Minimum 10 years managing a global team which provides 24x7x365 cyber security operations support
• Minimum 10 years experience managing security intelligence to improve security operations and support efforts 
• Experience with planning, designing, building, and operating a modern Security Operations Center (SOC).  
• Minimum 10 years of working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) implementation.
• Minimum 10 years working on security orchestration, automation and validation
• Minimum 10 years of automated controls assurance and validating the integrity of systems.
• Articulate and succinct communication skills. Publishing and Speaking engagements are an advantage
