Target Range:

$70,000.00 /Yr. - $100,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axos is seeking an AVP, Operations who will lead by coaching and developing team members. They will also be responsible for monitoring the processing and reporting functions of their department(s), and where applicable, implement a metric driven workflow system to ensure quality services are provided to clients. These quality services are timely, accurate, and adhere to firm policies, guidelines and industry practices in a client-friendly environment. The AVP is responsible for interacting with all teams to ensure a smooth flow of information. The AVP possesses in-depth knowledge of multiple areas and the financial services industry.  The AVP responsibilities will extend outside of their team(s) with a focus on the greater organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead an operational governance framework, ensuring transparency and accountability in decision-making

• Design, maintain, and monitor end-to-end operational controls, including reconciliations, exception processing, and supervisory oversight

• Supervise and manage risks for the firm through policy, process, supervision and oversight

• Leads team(s) to ensure all work is completed within established service levels and reviews the work of the team to ensure high level of quality

• Monitors and controls department expenditures to meet budget objectives and profitability goals.

• Build and develop high performing teams by engaging associates, setting expectations, holding team accountable and recognizing great work

• Effectively lead operational and organizational change by actively seeking feedback, performing data analysis, and applying good business judgement
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree is a must

• Must have 5-7 years’ experience in the financial services industry

• Must have 2-3 years’ experience supervising others.  

• Must have knowledge of financial industry practices as they relate to retirement and nonretirement plans.
