What You Will Do…
As the Accounting Manager, you will have the primary responsibility of performing various accounting activities within the Northern California Region accounting team. You will support both the transactional and operational accounting teams with weekly, monthly, and as assigned tasks. As proficiency is gained you will have the ability to provide input on controls, new systems, and advice on efficiencies that can be attained. You’ll play an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in both transactional and operational accounting, highly proficient in Excel utilization, and have experience leading or supervising others. They will be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of internal and external customers and be a motivated self-starter. Location: This is an in-person position based out of Santa Rosa, CA.
Shift: Primarily work 8–10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Nights/weekends as needed (up to 10%).
What You Can Do…
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years related operational accounting/finance experience in construction and/or manufacturing including an understanding of month-end close and all associated tasks, accounting principles and internal controls, financial reporting, and cash flow management.

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or closely related field.

Demonstrated ability to communicate results effectively to management and non-financial audiences.

Intermediate to advanced Excel user (advanced formula knowledge and use of pivot tables).

Excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build strong relationships, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.

A current authorization to work in the United States and can pass pre-employment controlled-substance testing.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a publicly traded company in an accounting capacity.

Prior experience in inventory management and cost accounting is highly desired.

Prior experience or exposure to budgeting/forecasting.

CPA, CFE, or CMA

SQL Query experience
