Data Analyst - Mid Level

Position

Apogee's ideal Data Analyst will work as part of a small dynamic team of government and contractor staff to help Apogee & the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) conduct data analysis, visualizations, and deliver data-driven insights to enable budget and project management, human resources management, reduction in cost and complexity, increase trust and integrity, and improve operational effectiveness and strategies.

Required

• Bachelor's Degree 
• 5-years' experience in Data Science/Data Analysis/Data Visualization 
• Knowledge and experience applying Analytics (Finance, HR, Social Sciences, Engineering, or Operations Research)   
• Knowledge and experience interrogating external or internal data sources to support analytic methods and visualization techniques
• Professional experience using Tableau
• Experience working within a team to deliver client solutions 
• Ability to interface and present effectively with leadership/customer/stakeholder to drive decision making

Desired Skills

• BS in STEM or Bachelor's in Finance, Economics or related
• Data Engineering Knowledge/Experience
• Relational database and data Warehouse modeling and schema design
• ETL automation
• SQL, MS Access, R and/or Python is a plus
• No-SQL and big data systems
• Business Process & Operations quantitative analysis
