IT Software Engineering Intern - Carmel, IN
Allegion is seeking a highly motivated individual for an IT Software Engineering internship. At Allegion, our IT software teams are focused on building secure scalable software solutions. In this role you will have the opportunity to participate in development discussions and implement solutions on real-time projects. What You Will Do:
- Network with leaders and others to seek mentorship and insights in the field
- Participate in development discussions and implement solutions on real projects
- Work with a team to produce well-rounded solutions
- Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
What You Need to Succeed:
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering.
- Junior and Senior applicants preferred
- Understanding of basic programming techniques
- Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
- An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about software and the Allegion business practices
- Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
- A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers
- This role is flexible and will allow for remote work opportunity
- Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Indiana or open to relocating to Indiana
