Business ManagementProvides oversight, governance and monitoring of operations within Global Facility Resiliency & Energy to drive consistency and quality ensuring that internal control processes, policies, guidelines, and procedures are adequate and functional. Develops and implements the integrated roadmap to guide the review, design, development, implementation, and ongoing operation of quality practices and management processes in alignment with established standards. Administers engineering & operations governance policies and maintains strategic alignment to ensure adherence and efficiency.
- Provides technical support, mentoring, coaching and training to team members in order to foster professional development.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
- Supports the assessment, root cause analysis, and formulating proposed solutions/remediation strategies for leadership review and approval.
- Escalates quality and compliance issues.
- Coordinates and executes specific activities for the implementation of strategic initiatives; includes tracking metrics and milestones.
- Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Supports the resolution of issues by coordinating stakeholders in the information chain.
- Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
- Supports the development and promotion of a business/group program.
- Identifies business needs, designs/develops tools and training programs; may include delivery of training to audiences.
- Documents and maintains operational procedures and processes. Track and organize process for periodic reviews and updates of procedures and processes
- Identifies opportunities to manage costs and increase effectiveness.
- Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes and systems.
- Coordinates budgets and reporting to track actual results vs budget.
- Employs systems (e.g. customized exception reports, tracking reports etc.) to manage information.
- Performs assessments and planning to verify that the business requirements are within standards.
- Identifies and implements the optimum means to collect, process, analyze and report on information to ensure ongoing accuracy, integrity and security.
- Participates in the resolution of operating/technical problems or manages escalation with other BMO technical support groups.
- Validates and tests changes to technology systems, process, policies, or procedures in support of operations governance.
- Focus is primarily on critical environment spaces within corporate real estate; may expand to have broader focus.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically, between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related engineering field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Salary:
$56,000.00 - $104,000.00Pay Type:
SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
