Sr. Accountant

<p>We seek <strong>Sr. Accountant</strong> for the GoodData accounting team in our Prague office. </p><p></p><h3><strong>Our Team</strong></h3><p>The Global Finance Team takes care of all financial activities at GD. We have 11 great team members who are part of our FP&amp;A or Accounting Department.</p><h3></h3><h3><strong>If you join us, you will</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Book accounting data into our cloud accounting system.</p></li><li><p>Book GL transactions (such as monthly accruals, and reclass).</p></li><li><p>Prepare the bank payment batches (T&amp;E, accounts payable, salary payment).</p></li><li><p>Be responsible for asset management from the financial PoV.</p></li><li><p>Ensure and manage month-end close processes (such as allocations, and amortization).</p></li><li><p>Check and approve the postings done by Jr. Accountant / Accountant.</p></li><li><p>Is back-up for Team Lead Accounting during his absence.</p></li><li><p>Help with month-end and quarter-end close reports.</p></li><li><p>Help with the yearly statutory audits.</p></li><li><p>Is partnered with other members of the accounting team to ensure timely results.</p></li><li><p>Work on various small assignments needed to run our accounting successfully.</p></li><li><p>Prepare global accounting reporting for stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Cooperate with the Lead financial analyst and prepare financial analysis/reports.</p></li><li><p>Corporate with the US accounting team on some accounting tasks. </p></li><li><p>Ad-hoc projects as necessary.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><strong>You should have</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Proven knowledge of month-end close processes, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Advanced Excel / Google Spreadsheets skills.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English and Czech.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><strong>It is nice if you have</strong></h3><ul><li><p>US-GAAP knowledge is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Netsuite, and Concur as a plus.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>The employment contract</strong> is for <strong>2 years.</strong></p><p></p><h3><strong>About GoodData</strong></h3><p>GoodData powers modern BI for the modern data stack.</p><p>GoodData is a cloud-based analytics platform.
