What you will do in this role:
Ensure company-wide strategic alignment of cybersecurity with CISO and company objectives
Establish and ensure a mature and evolving program for managing, mitigating, and communicating security risks
Provide insights for the Security Governance, Compliance and Risk programs
Drive clarity on the three lines of defense for security governance, including clear roles and responsibilities with hand-offs defined for associated teams.
Provide governance, accountability framework, and oversight for security risk issues, with meaningful KPIs and targets
Support identity management through the monitoring and enforcement of security controls company-wide
Collaborate with key risk programs like Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit to identify and reduce risk across the company
Monitor adherence to policy requirements and report on risks, control gaps, and overall program health
Ensure clear governance on security initiatives and optimization of security investments
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT with 1 years in broad IT role implementing complex control, risk, compliance, and governance programs as well as experience conducting Security focused audits
Experience in cloud environments at scale
Management experience facilitating governance and risk management programs at a large complex tech company or big 4 consulting firm
Certifications in security, audit, risk management, and project management are highly desirable
Extensive experience with national and international compliance requirements/standards such as SOX, ITGC, SOC 1&2, PCI, HIPAA
Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, or business-related discipline
