Facilities Cleaner/Custodian

Summary

The Facility cleaner will be responsible for daily cleaning for all the Offices, Common areas, Restroom, Locker Rooms, Conference Rooms, break areas, and our Warehouses. They will support the Facility team on site with other duties as needed.

 

Schedule: 2nd shift - $2.00/hr shift differential

 

Responsibilities

• Gather and empty trash and trash bins
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping or vacuuming them
• Clean restrooms and stock them with supplies
• Clean the Warehouses
• Clean Offices, restrooms, locker rooms, conference rooms, cafeteria, etc.
• Wash windows, walls and glass as needed
• Maintain cleaning supplies and ensure closet takes stocked for next shift
• Notify Facility Coordinator when repairs are needed, changing light bulbs, etc.
• Perform other duties as required and flow to the work
• Work as one team

 

Requirements

• "GED/Diploma or equivalent experience" and minimum of 2 years' experience in Janitorial, or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent
• Work independently and as a great teammate
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be attentive to detail and accuracy
• Effectively interact with peers and teams
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented setting
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently without regular direct supervision and with safety in mind.
• Must be a provider of excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, emails, etc.

Compensation Range: $20.00 - $25.00, plus bonus.
