About the role

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the spirit of "Making Us America’s Healthiest Hometown", work directly with Manager of FP&A and Managed Care Operations by providing analysis of financial as well as operational information via reporting packages, metrics and dashboards. Senior Financial Analyst will be key go to team member for financial and operational analytics. Senior Financial Analyst will be lead on annual budget process with guidance and direction provided by Manager of FP&A and Managed Care Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.   1.  Prepare monthly financial analysis of financial results 
  2. Maintain and develop financial metrics, operational metrics and dashboards with guidance from Manager of FP&A and Managed Care Operations 
  3. Involved with preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecast, and related reporting.
  4. Prepare clinician bonus reporting.
  5. Prepare sales commissions for sales and marketing team
  6. Work with company practice management system to run necessary reports for metric reporting purposes.
  7. Work with membership files from health plan(s) to ensure proper payments are received from health plan(s) on Medicare Advantage risk population.
  8. Maintain knowledge of current healthcare trends and developments in healthcare by reading appropriate literature and attending related seminars.
 Other duties as assigned or approved by Manager of FP&A and Managed Care Operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Two to five years of related accounting/finance experience required.
  • Public accounting and/or Healthcare experience is desirable.
  • Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel. Microsoft Access, SQL or Tableau database experience is desirable.
  • Candidate must be able to manage multiple task requests and changing priorities. Proven experience as a self-starter who can meet provided deadlines is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication are required for presentations and other communications with all levels of management. Communicate and present complex information in a clear, easy to understand manner.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals.
  • Candidate must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from CFO and Manager of FP&A and Managed Care Operations as well as other executives / operations team.
  •  Strong analytical ability for solving complex financial, organizational, and departmental issues. Proven ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendation from multi-faceted and often ambiguous data.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amount such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
