Looking for a position that makes you smile?
We’re seeking an Operations Manager, Product to join our growing team.
Smile Express is on the hunt for an Operations Manager who thinks like an owner — someone gritty, passionate, process-driven, and relentlessly focused on building a best-in-class patient journey. You’ll be responsible for leading and evolving our clinical operations across all channels (in-clinic, event activations, and online bookings), bringing the Smile Express brand to life through operational excellence and inspiring our Smile Doctors network to grow with us.

This isn’t a plug-and-play job. It’s a builder role. We need a bulldog—someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, tackle ambiguity head-on, travel throughout the network, and be the driving force behind patient experience and clinic execution. You’ll serve as both strategist and hands-on doer, embedding yourself into orthodontic practices, rallying teams, and refining every step of the workflow to deliver seamless, scalable success.

How you’ll make us better:

• Build & Own the Patient Journey:
Develop a practical MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and playbook for every phase of the Smile Express treatment lifecycle:
◦ Initial Booking
◦ Consultation
◦ 3D Scanning
◦ Product Delivery
◦ Monitoring & Support
◦ Treatment Completion
• Standardize & Scale:
Lead the development of clear, consistent workflows across diverse acquisition channels:
◦ In-clinic referrals
◦ Online bookings
◦ Event activations
• Drive Product Execution:
Partner with marketing and product to define and roll out Smile Express offerings – making them real in clinic operations and patient experience.
• Inspire & Influence Clinics:
Build strong relationships with orthodontists and their teams. Motivate and train them to grow their business through Smile Express — becoming trusted advisors, not just operators.
• Improve Everything:
Audit, refine, and optimize processes continuously. You love systems — but only if they work. If they don’t, you fix them.
• Lead Change:
Be a change agent who can bring people along for the ride. Excite teams about what’s next and push through resistance with empathy and purpose.

What We're Looking For:

• You’re a bulldog. Tenacious, persistent, and unwilling to let problems go unsolved.
• You have a startup mindset. You work fast, solve scrappy, and build as you go.
• You’re obsessed with people and processes. You know great operations start with human experience.
• You thrive in the field. Willing to travel regularly to meet orthodontists and see clinics firsthand.
• You love growth. Helping practices grow their Smile Express business excites you.
• You’re a force of energy. Teams feel inspired, challenged, and supported by your presence.

Your special skills:

• Strong workflow design, training, and operational program implementation skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Prerequisites for success:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field required
• Eight (8) years of experience in clinical operations or a related function required; dental, orthodontic, medical aesthetics, or multisite healthcare organizations preferred
• Experience scaling operational programs across multiple locations required
• Experience working with dental support organizations (DSOs), or orthodontic/medical service organizations preferred
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience required
• Advanced knowledge of clinical operations
• Proven success scaling operational programs across a network of locations
• Experience in or with DSOs, Orthodontic Service Orgs, Medical Service Orgs, or in-clinic sales roles supporting orthodontic or aesthetic products
• Strong leadership, training, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communicator and passionate team player
• Willingness to travel frequently
