Job Description:

Position Description: 

Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites to ensure product quality and release readiness with Salesforce. Creates Lightning Apps by combining Lightning Design System, Lightning App Builder, and Lightning Web Component features. Establishes new automation infrastructure, maintains existing automation, and creates reusable tests artifacts to streamline testing processes, using Cloud technologies (Azure). Works with the chapter lead and QA team in an Agile environment, to understand domain and accelerate test automation strategies to enable delivery of velocity. Tests automation into pipelines through Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles, using Jenkins and Git. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.  

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.  

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.  

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. 

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. 

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.  

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. 

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. 

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. 

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. 

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree  in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent)  and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing and supporting test automation in an agile delivery model for backend APIs (Rest API) and Salesforce Application, using Lightning Web service bundle in a financial services industry.  

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing and supporting test automation in an agile delivery model for backend APIs (Rest API) and Salesforce Application, using Lightning Web service bundle in a financial services industry. 

Skills and Knowledge: 

Candidate must also possess: 

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing Salesforce service Cloud applications, using Apex, Triggers, and Visualforce Struts frameworks; ensuring application security and support, and enhancing IP Range security vulnerabilities, by applying Web framework (XSS and CSRF); and configuring Salesforce tools (Flows, Data loader, workbench, and app exchange products).
