The Single Point of Care (SPOC) Specialist / Rehab Scheduler is accountable for initial scheduling, registration and coordination of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, and other complex procedures (eg., VFSS/MBSS, VNG, ECoG, VEMP, DBS, etc.). This complex scheduling is for 4 disciplines, 35+ outpatient Rehab clinics, and over 12 specialties. The Rehab Scheduler identifies and obtains appropriate procedure information, equipment/resources, patient demographic profile and insurance information.

The Rehab Scheduler uses Windows based software, multiline cloud-based phone system, and EPIC EMR to accurately schedule and efficiently process referrals in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment. This position uses simple to complex medical terminology. Caregiver must provide superior customer service and service recovery, utilizing good judgment that meets and/or exceeds the expectations of patients, visitors, physicians and Providence Health & Services staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years Customer service experience.
  • 1 year Medical and/or clerical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Business or college courses. 
  • 1 year experience utilizing Windows-based software.
  • 6 months experience with Epic or other EMR.
  • 1 year Rehabilitation or other specialty clinic experience.
  • 6 months Call center experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
