Senior SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Business Analyst (Discrete, MTO, ETO)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Discrete, Make-To-Order (MTO), and Engineer-To-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MES integration with ERP systems, focusing on Manufacturing Planning and Scheduling. This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless integration across systems, and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Discrete, Make-To-Order, and Engineer-To-Order Manufacturing:
  • Analyze and document business processes and requirements for discrete, MTO, and ETO manufacturing environments.
  • Provide expertise in configuring MES to support complex production workflows and project-based manufacturing operations.
• MES Integration:
  • Lead and manage the integration of MES with ERP systems, focusing on seamless data flow and synchronization.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot integration solutions.
• Manufacturing Planning and Scheduling:
  • Optimize manufacturing planning and scheduling processes to align with business requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance product quality.
• Business Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance overall manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, IT, and finance, to align objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure effective use of MES and ERP systems by end-users.
• Reporting and Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor manufacturing performance and support decision-making.
  • Provide detailed analysis and insights to support strategic planning and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience with MES in discrete, MTO, and ETO manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience in integrating MES with ERP systems, specifically focusing on manufacturing planning and scheduling.
  • Expertise in identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency in MES and ERP systems and familiarity with integration tools and technologies.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Certifications:
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
