Business Analyst II, International Seller Growth

International Seller Service is looking for a Business Analyst II (Level 5) for the Analytics team. We are looking for customer obsessed, data driven professionals to join our growing team and solve some of the hardest problems for our customers. If you want operate at start up speed and build a service which advertisers and shoppers love, this might be the place for you.<br/><br/>The business analyst is responsible for driving deep insights about our business for our business leaders and driving continuous improvement using the data. The person should have a detailed understanding of a business requirement or the ability to quickly get to the root cause of a particular business issue, and draft solutions to meet requirements or resolve the root problems. You will work closely with program managers, business intelligence engineers, data scientists and product managers to analyze massive data sets, identify areas to improve, define metrics to measure and monitor programs, and most importantly work with different stakeholders to drive improvements over time. You will also work closely with internal business teams to extract or mine information from our existing systems to create new analysis, and expose data from our group to wider teams in intuitive ways.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. within SQL, self-service data tools and Quicksight.<br/><br/>Define the data elements and data structure that our team should leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities for our business development team<br/><br/>Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow presence in new and existing territories<br/><br/>Preparing and delivering business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks<br/><br/>Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format<br/><br/>Define the business problem and solution approach autonomously with limited guidance.<br/><br/>Write concise documents communicating results to stakeholders and visualize data to drive decision making<h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><br/><ul><li>3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience</li><li>Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights</li><li>Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders</li><li>Experience with Excel</li></ul><br/><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with SQL</li></ul>
