About the role

Your role would be to deliver the highest levels of quality, be customer-oriented and create value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd

  • Handles booking creation
  • Handle booking amendments received via EDI
  • Finalize and distribute invoices/reversals for freight / additional charges
  • Validate and settle revenue disputes where applicable. Monitors outstanding invoices, invoice amendments and time pending invoices
  • Perform vessel balancing tasks prior sailing, to ensure the best vessel utilization
  • Perform vessel balancing after sailing for vessel cleanup
  • Follow up and take the necessary actions to resolve discrepancies in the load and discharge lists
  • Handle customs activities, included but not limited to export / import manifests, in-bond handling
  • Handle mass activities to announce on-carriage to the transport dispatch team by vessel / rail location
  • Trigger mass full container releases in FIS for port and rail destinations
  • Work with management for booking efficiency improvements (e.g. booking cycle time, customer profile)
  • Follow standard processes and new requirements as communicated by management

 

  • University degree or equivalent 
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Able to work well with others and follow guidelines 
  • Positive attitude
  • Receptive and be able to grasp new ideas and motivate one’s self for personal development
