As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Cleveland, Ohio, or Birmingham, Alabama.

The Business Management organization supports senior leaders across technology, providing a broad, strategic view into key areas such as risk, security, fraud, and program/project management. The Business Analytics Consultant plays a key role in supporting monthly metric reporting processes and helping deliver executive insights. This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in data analytics, strategic communication, and executive reporting.

The ideal candidate combines technical capability with curiosity, initiative, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and insights related to technology metrics.
• Respond to ad hoc requests with a sense of urgency, creativity, and the ability to develop new approaches independently.
• Partner with stakeholders across Technology to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business priorities.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and strong attention to detail in delivering data driven insights and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Self motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of assignments from start to finish.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent, quick-turnaround requests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Experience with process improvement and optimization.
• Ability to analyze trends and translate data into meaningful insights.
• Business and technical acumen.
• Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI is preferred.

Job Description

  • Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit to create data driven solutions.
  • Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
  • Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
  • Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
  • Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.
