RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Serve as a top-level technical expert in Information Technology (IT) lifecycle processes, including application development, infrastructure support, and enterprise systems integration.
• Document and analyze current business operations, technical processes, and system workflows.
• Perform gap analyses comparing existing practices to industry best practices; develop actionable plans with milestones to evolve organizational capabilities.
• Provide strategic insight into the business impact of system implementations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and IT capabilities.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as process models, system requirements, and workflow diagrams.
• Recommend improvements for business processes and IT solutions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
• Act as a key liaison between IT leadership and business units, translating complex technical concepts into business language.
• Support project planning, execution, and monitoring as a technical SME throughout the system development life cycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, IT lifecycle management, or enterprise systems integration.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate existing systems and business processes to recommend and implement improvements aligned with industry best practices.
• Proven track record supporting enterprise-level IT projects with direct impact on business operations.
• Experience developing process documentation and conducting strategic analysis in support of technical solutions.

Certifications

• Must hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• DoD 8570 IAM Level III Baseline Certification
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
  • Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)

Education

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science

Clearance:

• Secret - IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation
