As part of early development project teams, HPE conduct research to gain a deep understanding of human performance capabilities; analyze and characterize usability considerations; conduct concept evaluations to realize the impact of design concepts on user workflow, behavior and performance; translate user needs into usability requirements; and develop new tools to measure UX and inform design.

This role functions in the ambiguous, strategic early stages of product development, so the position requires an ability to change direction quickly, from high-level strategic thinking to detailed requirements and data collection with an appetite for rapid prototyping and minimum viable product mentality, while maintaining high standards for experimental research.
