Be part of a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise Information Management. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Solutions Consultant (m/w/d) – Cybersecurity</p> <p> </p> <p>The Solution Consultant is a core member of the OpenText™  Cybersecurity Sales team, working together to identify and develop revenue opportunities within the OpenText™  Partner and Prospect base. This will involve working with our channel partners and complex customer requirements to provide a compelling, unique value proposition which leverages OpenText™  Cybersecurity portfolio of solutions. The role is responsible for helping partners visualize the value proposition by building out customized demonstrations of OpenText™  products and solutions and delivering technology and business level presentations to technical, business and management-level audiences.</p> <p> </p> <p>As an OpenText™  Solution Consultant, you will be working with Partner Managers across various aspects of the sales process. You will be providing technical assistance, enablement and expertise to the companies looking to leverage OpenText™ ’s products and solutions.</p> <p> </p> <p>You are great at: </p> <p>•            Working directly with Partner Managers in the field to communicate OpenText™ value propositions to the partners, customers and prospects.</p> <p>•            Understanding partner and customer business pains and propose the required business solution.</p> <p>•            Applying both business skills and technical to solve problems within a partner and subsequently providing an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s business requirements.</p> <p>•            Presenting to senior level business and technical users within a partner and customer account.</p> <p>•            Qualifying opportunities at key milestones, taking into consideration the competitive landscape, channel, solution fit, relationship with the customer, etc.</p> <p>•            Develops and delivers product demonstrations and proof of concepts against specific partner and customer requirements.</p> <p>•            Responds to RFx requests, taking the lead for the solution and technical elements of the response.</p> <p> </p> <p>What it takes: </p> <p>•            Minimum of a BS in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experience  </p> <p>•            Experience with Linux and Windows physical and virtualized platforms</p> <p>•            Good understanding of Microsoft365, Azure and AWS platforms.</p> <p>•            Working knowledge of data protection and data security principles.</p> <p>•            Understanding of web tools and application architecture (data bases, API, UX) </p> <p>•            Very good understanding of Cyber Security concepts, practical experience with networking, backup, servers, and endpoints.</p> <p>•            Knowledge of qualifying and managing applied Cyber Security strategies such as anti-virus, firewalls, proxies/filters, and disaster recovery</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
