We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.</p><p></p><p><span>Owing to the continuous growth of our Eli Lilly, Kinsale facility in both the Small <span>Molecule/Pharmaceutical</span> and Peptide Operations space we looking for<b> Process Scientists</b> to join our Technical <span>Services/Manufacturing</span> Science team and contribute to our goal of making a difference to people’s lives.</span></p><p></p><p><span>If you are looking for a challenging, rewarding career and feel you meet the requirements listed below we would love to consider you for a role at Eli Lilly, Kinsale</span></p><p></p><p></p><p><span><b>Who we want:</b></span></p><ul><li><span><b>Problem solvers</b> with deep technical interest in chemistry and manufacturing science</span></li><li><span><b>Collaborative team players</b> who work effectively with teams, and have the interpersonal skills to partner with other functions in order to troubleshoot and deliver in a <span>manufacturing/operations</span> environment </span></li><li><span><b>Detail-orientated thinkers</b> with excellent laboratory technique, who participate in and facilitate decision making with a continuous improvement mindset</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What you need:</span></b></p><p><span>PhD or MSc in Chemistry (Organic / Synthetic / Medicinal / Analytical)</span></p><p><span>3-4 years industrial experience preferred but not required. </span></p><p></p><p></p><p><span><b><u>What you will do:</u></b></span></p><ul><li><span>Have a deep understanding of the laboratory model and a thorough knowledge of the process control strategy and its implementation in the manufacturing environment</span></li><li><span>Provide technical support for the commercialization and technology transfer of new processes into the <span>operations/manufacturing</span> environment</span></li><li><span>Be the expert on the process chemistry and overall molecule control strategy, including development history, impurity generation and rejection etc.  Ensure maintenance of control strategy through lifecycle</span></li><li><span>Transferring new processes/technology from Lilly Development and/or third party operations to Eli Lilly Kinsale.</span></li><li><span>Be familiar with and capable of executing a robust lab model for new or existing products</span></li><li><span>Build technical expertise in the area of responsibility and demonstrate strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.</span></li><li><span>Ensure the process is in-control, capable, compliant and maintained in a validated state through continual monitoring.</span></li><li><span>Identify, prioritise and complete process optimisation opportunities based on EVA (Economic Value Added) and other criteria.</span></li></ul><p></p><p>Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
