Job Summary
A sterile processing technician works to prepare, sterilize, install, assemble, or clean all laboratory or healthcare equipment required for surgeries, examinations, and medical procedures. The sterile processing technician ensures equipment, instruments, and supplies can be reused safely to prevent infections.
Experience
- None required.
Education
- High School Graduate.
- Related technical education preferred.
License & Certifications
- Registered CRCST or CSPDT or CBSPD and CER within two years of hire.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
- Rotating call/holidays
