Gigamon has been awarded over 90 technology patents and enjoys world-class customer satisfaction with over 4,000 organizations, including over 80 percent of the Fortune 100 and hundreds of governments and educational organizations worldwide.Gigamon is seeking a talented and experienced Director, Sales Enablement, to develop and drive an effective roadmap and portfolio of programs that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our global sales and field team. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, sales engineering, sales strategy, operations, enablement, or a similar field, and a solid track record of delivering measurable improvements in sales productivity. What You’ll Do:
- Program Development: Create, develop, manage, and lead the successful execution of cross-functional sales enablement programs in collaboration with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Field Marketing, and HR.
- Training Management: Design and plan all field training activities, including New Hire training, Sales kick-off, SE Summits, and monthly Sales and SE Training.
- Master Planning: Assist in the development of the master plan and calendar for Sales Enablement activities throughout the year.
- Metrics and Reporting: Design and implement metrics to measure training program impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility. Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments.
- Content Management: Review and manage the existing content library to improve the learning experience, ensure content is current and relevant, and employ the best technology.
- System Integration: Work with various systems owners to define and implement the integrations required for the sales enablement portal.
- Technical Requirements: Understand the training program's enablement needs and translate them into system technical requirements.
- Field Tools Management: Manage field tools such as MindTickle, Swoogo, and other upcoming programs.
- Technical Escalation: Serve as the escalation point for all technical queries from the enablement team.
- System Onboarding: Onboard and implement new systems for enablement as needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Sales or SE leadership, Sales Strategy, Operations, Enablement, Consulting, or a similar field with increasing influence and responsibility.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, technology, or a similar relevant field of study.
- Program and Project Management: Proven excellent program management and project management skills.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage without direct authority.
- Instructional Design: Formal background in instructional needs analysis, instructional design, and training.
- Strategic Thinker: Able to take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions, and measurable metrics, then execute against those plans to improve productivity.
- Excellent Communicator: Possess excellent communication skills, including presenting, editing, and writing, with a strong attention to detail.
- Independent and Entrepreneurial: An independent self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to get things done.
