PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Production Lead, the Production Assembler performs various tasks in support of Opportunity Village's (OV) various revenue-generating operational lines. The Production Assembler is responsible for day-to-day operations associated with production to ensure successful contract execution and delivery to OV's customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Complete packaging tasks to specification with required speed and accuracy.
2. Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
3. Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
4. Provide quality assurance: measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, or assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.
5. Assist with counts on package reports and properly mark all containers, including stenciling, labeling, etc.
6. Work cooperatively to meet quotas and goals with team members, visitors, and volunteers.
7. Adheres to rigorous safety protocols to guarantee the well-being of all team members, visitors, and volunteers in the workspace.
8. Monitor equipment to confirm proper functionality for a successful production process.
9. Follow quality control procedures.
10. Follow the correct pattern of pallet stacking.
11. Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) within immediately as mandated by state law.
12. May be assigned other duties as needed

This position does not directly supervise others.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required: Certified to use pallet jack within 30 days of hire.
