Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract)

Come join us in shaping the future! Help build the team developing a revolutionary satellite communications system as a Senior Technical Recruiter on a 6-month contract. This role will primarily focus on technical recruiting but will also take on some HR responsibilities to support our small but growing team. The ideal candidate has prior experience recruiting in startup environments, understands the nuances of building teams from the ground up, and can wear multiple hats.     AscendArc is a seed stage startup founded to revolutionize the satellite communications industry. Recruiting (Primary) 

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation, primarily focused on technical roles 
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define roles and create strategies for attracting top talent 
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipelines 
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process 

HR & People Ops (Secondary) 

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes 
• Assist with drafting and updating contracts, policies, and employee communications 
• Provide general HR support as needed in a small-team environment 
• Assist with occasional event planning and hospitality needs 

 Qualifications    

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably with experience in startups or fast-growing companies 
• Strong track record of filling engineering and technical roles 
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem) 
• Comfortable handling basic HR and people operations tasks 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment 

  The hourly rate for this position is $45-65/hr.
