Human Resources Generalist - Temporary - Part Time 0.60 FTE - Benefitted - Salary Exempt

Salary Range: $36.60 - $49.42

This is a Temporary part time 0.60 fte position with benefits for a duration of 12 months.

The Human Resources Generalist supports the Human Resources Department with a wide range of general duties in the areas of onboarding, recruitment, employee/labor relations, leave of absence and employee benefits. The HR Generalist works closely with all members of the Human Resources team to support the smooth operation of the department. The HR Generalist will create an outstanding experience for the candidate and employees.

Qualifications: 

Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred. Preferred PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications.

Experience: At least one year HR experience preferably in the Healthcare field, specifically in an acute care hospital environment. General working knowledge of all aspects of the Human Resources department in a healthcare setting.

Preferred/Desirable Skills, Abilities:

Shows initiative in analyzing Human Resources processes and making recommendations for improvements. Able to take a proactive approach to streamline HR process. Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary to explain complex information to all levels of management/employees. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals. Work independently in responding to day-to-day functional needs in a dynamic environment.
