Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant 

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.  

 

Expectations and Tasks:  

Map business processes to solution requirements. Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Support pre-sales activities.  Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support escalated projects. Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio. Support in solution testing and issue resolution. Can mentor business process consultants.   

 

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:  

• Defining the technical architecture and Infrastructure for SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA; 

• Hyperscaler specific infrastructure solutions and virtualization technologies; 

• Database technologies SAP HANA performance tuning with strong understanding of performance tuning;  

• Planning and architecting the de-escalation strategy and bring the SAP solution back to operations;  

• Downtime minimization technologies like nZDM, and DoC; 

• Conversion to SAP S/4HANA on-premise or cloud and upgrades within SAP S/4HANA product family; and  

• Defining the Instance and Landscape Strategy for Hybrid SAP landscapes. 

Travel: Position requires up to 40% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.
