Role and Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Head of Digital Development Enablement, the Director of Digital Data Platforms will play a critical role in driving innovation and growth for the Banking Solutions business. In a leadership role in the Digital Technology organization, you will be responsible for transforming our platforms and driving the movement of the next generation of digital data and analytics platform.  With a focus on digital data and analytics technologies, you will collaborate closely with product leaders, and other stakeholders to align product milestones and deliver innovative digital applications and experiences. In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the company's digital transformation journey, drive customer-centric innovation, and position the organization as a leader in the competitive digital banking landscape. Specifically, the Director of Digital Data Platforms will be responsible for the following: 

• Partnering closely with the broader Digital Engineering organization, and Banking product organization to deliver roadmaps and plans to introduce data and analytics capabilities into their platforms. 

• Delivering high-quality and high-performance data solutions to our clients and customers for all product areas in the Digital Solutions business. 

• Keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the data and analytics space brings innovative ideas and best practices to drive continuous improvement. 

• Owns the design, execution, rollout, and evangelism of the data and analytics platforms. 

• Plan and coordinate reviews and approval of technical deliverables. 

• Continuously improve patterns, practices, and operational efficiency within the team. 

• Conduct assessments, build blueprints and roadmaps, build proofs of concept, and write technical points of view.

• Lead a team of data engineering experts as we look to stand up data and analytics platforms using tools like Celebrus, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot etc in AWS. 

• Analyze current data technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them. 

• Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration. 

• Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other team members.
