Senior Software Engineer

Join us to tackle complex challenges and contribute to innovative product delivery.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments</b></p><ul><li><p>4+ years of experience with Salesforce Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Component development.</p></li><li><p>Excellent skills in developing enterprise software following best practices regarding architectural patterns and clean code </p></li><li><p><span>High experience with working around Salesforce limits by using asynchronous/batch processing</span> </p></li><li><p><span>Participation in the definition, setting up or operating of Salesforce CI/CD process, experince with tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Circle CI is a plus.</span></p></li><li><p>Good Knowledge of GIT based source driven development </p></li><li><p>Creativity, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn new things </p></li><li><p>Agile mindset and the ability to work in a team </p></li><li><p>A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace </p></li><li><p>Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities </p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Design, or related field </p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>It would be great if you also have . . .</b>  </p><ul><li><p>Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Design, or related field </p></li><li><p><span><span>Hands on with any type of scripting language to automate process, bash, node.js, groovy</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Experience building sfdx plugins is a plus</span></span></span></p></li><li><p>Experience with Salesforce DX is a plus </p></li><li><p>Experience with Cloud (AWS, Heroku or similar) </p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>What will you be doing in this role?</b></p><ul><li><p>Play a key role in delivering a secure, performant and maintainable product by creating, supporting the implementation of good, scalable architecture </p></li><li><p>Participate actively and enthusiastically in one of our agile and cross-functional teams. </p></li><li><p>Plan, design and implement quality software solutions that effectively satisfy business functional and non-functional requirements </p></li><li><p>Document and assure the quality of work through unit and acceptance tests. </p></li><li><p>Adhere and contribute to the Clarivate coding standards for excellence and industry best practices regarding the development processes </p></li><li><p>Participate in our regular Community of Practices (Clean Code, Review, Know-Sharing, ...) sessions. </p></li><li><p>Continuously improve agile development methods and processes together with your team.  </p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Product you will be developing:</b> </p><p>IPG applications are designed to securely manage and support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making across the entire IP lifecycle.  This drives IP awareness, improves planning and efficiency, and helps to increase market competitiveness across the globe.
