Then we have an excellent opportunity for you in the ASML Planning &amp; Delivery department!</p><p></p><p>Job Description</p><p>As Business Planner, you set the stable &amp; reliable plan for materials supplied by external parties and internal factories, enabling our supply chain to deliver, while balancing availability and inventory in line with business objectives. You are the orchestrator of the ASML supply chain, ensuring material availability for our factories and our customers. You understand and clarify demand dynamics towards your supplying parties, supporting your counterparts to meet the ASML growth path.</p><p></p><p>Further, you are responsible for:</p><ul><li>Securing material availability to secure system output and service events at our customers: <ul><li>Providing a stable and reliable plan to our suppliers and module factories</li><li>Creating Demand &amp; Supply (D&amp;S) overviews for materials (0-24 month horizon)</li><li>Driving D&amp;S gap closure actions and monitoring plan execution on a weekly basis</li><li>Driving decision-making on investment scenarios for capacity increases (1-3 year horizon)</li></ul></li><li>Managing inventory levels to reduce the risk of excess &amp; obsolescence (E&amp;O):<ul><li>Taking decision on buffer strategies</li><li>Making inventory projections and E&amp;O risk assessments</li><li>Actively resolving inefficient and overplanned inventory risks</li></ul></li><li>Deploying planning signals by<ul><li>Optimizing planning parameters</li><li>Deciding on and implementing best planning policy (eg manual planning versus MRP)</li><li>Improving planning policies and methodologies (eg new demand leveling method)</li></ul></li><li>Driving continuous improvement</li><li>Collaborating closely with demand planning departments, supplier-facing departments, product lifecycle management and production planning to reach agreement on the supply plan and D&amp;S gap closure actions</li></ul><p></p><p>Education</p><p>Relevant Master or advanced degree (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration).</p><p></p><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Good understanding of and experience with supply chain management processes, with focus on supply/ material planning</li><li>Experience with S&amp;OP as well as Master Production Schedule and Production Planning</li><li>Relevant experience with SAP software solutions such as SAP ERP, SAP IBP, SAP APO and SAP HANA</li><li>Experience in setting-up and leading projects successfully</li></ul><p></p><p>Personal skills</p><ul><li>Ability to deal with pressure and changing requirements</li><li>Ability to plan and set priorities</li><li>Ability to make deep-dive analyses whilst maintaining top-level overview</li><li>Capable of building strong stakeholder relationships and resolving issues collaboratively</li><li>Presentation skills, translating complexity to understandable storyline</li><li>Customer dedicated and service minded</li><li>Proactive attitude, eager to learn</li><li>Cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Drive for continuous improvement of processes</li><li>Professional communication in English, both verbal and written</li></ul><p></p><p>Context of the position</p><p>Planning and Delivery (P&amp;D) combines all planning activities across ASML, bringing demand and supply perspectives closer together. P&amp;D collaborates closely with business lines and sectors to connect requirements and priorities into an integrated business plan, while remaining clear on bottlenecks and real constraints, so we can stretch them to meet opportunities without becoming unrealistic. This allows P&amp;D to become the unbiased, trusted partner that helps ASML to remain both ambitious and realistic in its business planning and capacity and increases our combined solution power to drive improvements. </p><p></p><p>The P&amp;D organization focuses on four key activities: </p><ul><li>Planning, planning strategy and improvement </li><li>Integral demand and supply (0-3 year horizon) </li><li>Capacity preparation planning (&gt;3 year horizon) </li><li>Delivery: freight, customs and warehousing </li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p>
