JOB SUMMARY
The selected candidate will be responsible for data analysis and usage requirements and focuses solely on data. This includes but is not limited to analyzing key data, understanding the integration points, and the ability to write effective data requirements regarding business usage and assisting in any solution design. This role will also capture data issues during any work efforts with the business teams and provides the issue details, business usage and other important data facts to the data quality team. The position will understand and adhere to the enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices documented by the data governance team.

What you will do
- Create, document, and manage business conceptual data artifacts, such as conceptual models, critical data element inventory, and define the data based on business usage
- Manage data requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation processes to capture business needs.
- Manage and understand business process efforts that take data in, manipulate the data through business rules and produce data outputs.
- Manage multiple requirements gathering efforts at one time and be able to assimilate into cohesive end to end data requirements when there is data overlap.
- Communicate effectively with business partners to inform and influence important decisions required regarding strategic data direction.
- Promote data governance and architecture
- Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements are created for all other policies and standards that apply to data such as privacy, security, and risk,
- Assist Governance Team in capturing metrics that provide insights into effectiveness of data analysis and requirements.
- Rationalize and coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and streamline the expense related to those services
- Identify and aggregate internal and external data sources
- Coordinate with data owners/stewards to ensure appropriate data accessibility and quality
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related preferred
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data management efforts and oversight
Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex data, summarize and effectively communicate and present the data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of industry leading data analysis and requirements practices
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data policies
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multi
