Description:

This is a full time (40 hours/week 1 FTE) day shift position with a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite at the ISC in Plainfield, IN and 2 days remote once fully trained. 

The main focus of this role is to support the perpetual compliance efforts for regulatory, legal, and accreditation requirements as related to medication management. This role requires 40% of travel within the state to other IU Health sites.

Supports System Pharmacy Services with various departmental functions to deliver consistent quality and reliability for significant business operations. Maintains alignment to regulations and accreditation standards as applicable and ensures perpetual compliance. Interprets standards, rules and regulations and translates these into operational activities including creation of standard work and policies/procedures. Conducts data audits to ensure program compliance.  Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure compliance records are complete and accurate. Implements process improvements, when applicable, to ensure efficiencies and compliance. Exercises independent judgement and leads efforts to implement changes as needed to support business functions, regulatory compliance and quality improvement.

  • High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Requires Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
  • Requires working knowledge of pharmacy operations.
  • Requires intermediate proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications.
  • May require travel to IU Health facilities.
  • May require weekend rotations.
