The Senior Director, Global Manufacturing and Operations is a key strategic leader taking responsibility for a wide range of business operations from production to delivery, underpinned by ensuring compliance to all relevant medical device standards. You’ll achieve this by evolving and implementing the operational plan of the business across manufacturing, operations, and supply chain whilst also driving efficiency and improvements across existing systems and processes relevant to those departments metrics.

SC+ is commercially available in the UK for home and hospital use and is FDA cleared for use in chronic and acute care settings.

Requirements

As the preferred candidate for the role of Senior Director, Global Manufacturing and Operations you’ll have:

• Experience across a diverse set of business functions within a medical device or dialysis business, with extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply challenges, product quality issues, cost reduction projects and demand planning.
• Experience of working with high complexity, safety-critical disposable medical devices.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality best practice, compliance requirements and management of external suppliers, with experience of selecting and sourcing materials and components.
• Expertise in injection moulding, plastics bonding, and extrusion, with an understanding of low volume plastics manufacturing processes and what it will take to progress to high volume.
• Proven people management/leadership experience (preferably within a medical device company and in a start-up environment).
