Job Description
Danfoss Climate Solutions welcomes you! We are currently seeking a Production Planner to join our team in Mountain Home, Arkansas. This is a 1st Shift position.
The ideal candidate will possess experience and expertise in efficient production planning and work order release or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely release of production orders to meet delivery deadlines and optimize production efficiency.
- Utilize SAP for planning and scheduling activities, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
- Work together with the operations team to align schedule requirements with available machine and manning capacity.
- Collaborate closely with the internal material management team to ensure material availability for production, addressing potential issues.
- Continuously analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement, enhancing productivity and reducing lead times.
- Maintain production orders and related inventory movement corrections
- Participate in project teams as required
- Create and maintain MRP data on part numbers
- Perform other duties as required
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelors of Science, Bachelors of Arts, or equivalent; or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Two plus (2+) years' experience in production planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills are key.
- Ability to coordinate activities with all departments at plant level.
