  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, systems analysis, or related studies and experience 
  • 5+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst working on software development projects or as SharePoint solution consultant, with strong Technical Functional knowledge and expertise on SharePoint
  • Certified on and/or expertise working with SharePoint, in particular SharePoint Communicaton Sites, Viva Connections, SharePoint Administration and functional knowledge and proficiency on Content Managegement good practices and how to apply them in SharePoint
  • SharePoint Functional knowledge and expertise is a must and SharePoint/Power Platoform technical knowledge is a big plus
  • Exposure to new AI and GenAI technologies like CoPilot are a plus 
  • Understanding of Agile/DevOps methods and processes is required
  • Effective English communication.


Position Summary

Are you a talented Business Analyst ready to join Nestlé Workforce 360 Collaboration, Content and Portal Services product team in Milan, Italy?  

We need you to create a deep understanding of opportunities and issues faced by the business functions and recommend the best IS/IT solutions. Translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements. Working within the Content and Portal Services Product team to specify, test and deploy IS/IT solutions this role requires a hands-on and proactive approach, with excellent prioritization, time management and communication skills. 

You will be responsible for bridging the communication between various teams and stakeholders (e.g. developers, UX designers, vendors, business stakeholders, Content Management SMEs, Adoption and Change SMEs and end users) and defining a product that is both technically feasible and meets the needs of the business and users.

 

A Day in the Life of a Business Analyst: 

  • Partner with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT solutions. 
  • Build Prototypes and Proof-Of-Concept solutions based on Out-Of-The-Box SharePoint and Power Platform capabilties
  • Work with Shared Services teams to upskill them and advise on SharePoint solutions based on Out-Of-The-Box capabilties, Power Platform or SharePoint templatized solutions to deliver on specific Business scenarious or requirements
  • Work with technical teams (e.g. developers) and UX designers to translate the business requirements into viable solutions
  • Consult with your product manager to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business needs 
  • Ensure that the Product/Platform Group Managers, Product Managers/Owners and Business Relationship Manager (BRM) are supported in the development of their product strategies through incremental improvement 
  • Partner with the Business and Functional Relationship Managers (BRM/FRM), Product Group Manager and Product Managers to facilitate the strategy and innovation planning with business stakeholders 
  • Ensure that the program development, logic, process flows and specifications are analyzed, documented (business process maps, customer and user journeys, data flows) and tested 
  • Consult with the Product Group teams and propose improvement solutions 
  • Ensure that the training materials for the Product Group area are created and up-to-date 
  • Oversee and ensure training is delivered for deployment and support teams, to the end user trainers, and finally to the end users  
  • Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the third level sustain activities 
  • Coordinate people belonguing to various organizations (business and IS/IT) to understand the business needs and find the best solution that will both align with the customer objectives and the IS/IT/Business strategy. 

 

What else will make you successful?

  • Experience/Expertize defining and implementing SharePoint Knowledge Management and Communication solutions including development of good practices, information architecture, taxonomies, governance models and successful solution adoption strategies
  • Experience/Expertize leveraging Power Platform capabilites in SharePoint solutions is a plus
  • Excellent English communication skills (including the ability write clear documents and explain complex concepts in simple language to a non-technical audience)
  • Experience working on project, juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines 
  • Proficient in Microsoft solutions such as Office 365 
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps
