Senior Frontend Engineer - NetSuite OpenAir

NetSuite OpenAir is looking for a talented frontend developer to join a team of software engineers building the next-generation of the NetSuite OpenAir PSA application. You will work closely with product managers, user experience designers, QA, and other talented engineers to define and implement high quality, scalable solutions that fulfill a wide variety of customer-driven business processes needs. Using best practices, you will utilize existing methods or develop new techniques as appropriate, to create and modify client-side user interface components and workflows, maintain complex server-side infrastructure, and extend the existing OpenAir platform. You will work on the entire application stack, from database to browser.

You must be an excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts. You must have a record of working to deadlines and prioritizing competing demands. Pride in your work and a desire to delight the customer should motivate you to take initiative, take responsibility and take ownership of your projects. 

Responsibilities:

•   Cooperate with UI/UX designers in feature specification and design in order to promote component reusability and common design language.•   Turn graphical design into Vue.js based reusable components.•   Help transform a rich dynamic application into an SPA focusing on speed and usability.•   Cooperate with quality engineers to ensure easy coverage of new features with automated tests.

Qualifications/Skills: •   Interest in modern web based interface technologies.•   Implementation of dynamic UIs on top of REST API interfaces and ability to define requirements for such APIs.•   Ability to convert a UI design to pixel perfect web interface.•   Understanding of modern principles of web interfaces (local storage, responsive UIs, in-browser profiling).•   Designing reusable technical solutions.•   Very good written and oral communication in English.

Essential Technical Skills:•   3-5 years JavaScript•   HTML 5•   CSS (SCSS/SASS knowledge beneficial)

Experience with any of the following are a benefit: •   Vue.js, TypeScript, Quasar, Vite, Node.js, npm, Webpack•   Figma•   ES6+•   tailwind/UnoCSS•   JS Unit testing (Mocha, Chai)•   Other programming languages (Perl, Python) 

Other Preferred Experiences:•   Business process definition•   MVC web application architecture design •   Familiarity with Scrum
