Embedded Software Architect for Driving Assistance Systems

Technical curiosity paired with a passion for engineering is a must for this role, we are looking for someone who applies strategic problem solving and enables the team to understand even the most complex technical challenges down to the last bit. Eagerness to own Software Architect and development activities, high-quality oriented processes, and innovation initiatives.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Embedded Software Architecture:<ul><li>Creation, update and maintenance of Software Architecture structural elements.</li><li>Complete detailing of internal behavior and interfaces (i.e., synchronicity, reentrancy, execution context, range and resolution, etc.).</li><li>Time complexity identification and management for dynamic architecture design.</li><li>Mapping of runnables to processor cores and RTOS tasks.</li><li>Binding of components to memory space partitioning.</li><li>Support on AUTOSAR Classic Release 4.2 BSW modules and above.</li><li>Complete understanding and guidance to complete Embedded SW Developer team on regards of AUTOSAR Classic and Bosch proprietary architecture for one or many ADAS Embedded SW projects.</li></ul></li><li>Systematic implementing problem resolution methodologies to lead, guide and support critical topics impacting the software system and milestones (e.g., 5-whys, cause-effect, 8D, race conditions, exceptions, traps, resets, etc.).</li><li>Embedded Software Development: design, coding, BSW modules configuration, test and documentation for Driver Assistance products.</li><li>Requirements Management with respect to Architectural Design Concept as well as relevant documentation.</li><li>Follow quality process for software development testing according to ISO26262 and ASPICE.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>C programming experience (Mid-level: 6+ years industry experience).</li></ul><ul><li>Low level debugging (i.e., disassembly, memory, core, and special function registers).</li><li>Experience with multi core micro-controller and micro-processor architectures (Mid-level: 6+ years industry experience).</li><li>Real Time Operating Systems for multicore embedded systems, mixed scheduling policies in Rate Monotonic Systems (Mid-level: 3+ years).</li><li>Experience on automotive industry projects as Embedded SW Developer or similar (3+ years of experience).</li><li>Experience implementing requirements related to more than three SW Stacks of the AUTOSAR Classic, like Communication Stack, Diagnostic Stack, Memory stack, etc. (more than 3+ years of experience).</li><li>Experience with Software Architecture tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Davinci Developer, MS Visio, IBM Rational Rhapsody, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge on Software Architecture principles and patterns, methodologies and structural elements.</li><li>Knowledge on UML/SysML (e.g., sequence diagrams, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, composition and context views).</li><li>Knowledge of compilation, linking and post build process (e.g., preprocess, intermediate code generation, lst files, ld/ldf files, hex files, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge in software development life cycle.</li><li>Knowledge of revision control, configuration and change management tools (e.g., Git, SVN, PTC, etc.)</li><li>Good knowledge and must have used CAN/CANFD communication protocols on Embedded Systems.</li><li>Knowledge / experience with Quality process &amp; Safety-standards such as ASPICE/CMMI, ISO 26262.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Bosch is constantly expanding its international presence, since for us cultural diversity represents one of our greatest strengths.
