Biomed Equipment Worker( Entry ) -Mount Sinai Morningside

Moves equipment, in need of repair or preventive maintenance, from user areas to Biomedical Engineering facilities

• Moves equipment, which has received service, from Biomedical Engineering facilities to user areas
• Cleans equipment, including, but not limited to, exterior surfaces, wheel sand casters, IV poles, cases, filters, and stands and mounting brackets
• Performs electrical safety tests, including all necessary documentation, on all equipment serviced by the Biomedical Engineering department
• Performs simple repairs, including, but not limited to, power plug and line cord replacement and mechanical work

Requirements:

Associate’s degree or equivalent in electrical or electronic technology

• Minimum of three years experience in biomedical position required.

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $32.97 - $32.97 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
