AREA SALES MANAGER LATAM CENTRAL AMERICA - TRAVEL RETAIL
Position purpose:
You will be responsible for achieving sales targets for the assigned territory respecting company compliance and all aspects of sales territory management (and field force deployment - where applicable). You will establish a close business relationship with the trade and play an active role in the implementation of consumer & trade programs. You manage the implementation of consumer & trade marketing programs and monitor implementation KPIs and competitive activity.
You contribute and implement (key) account plans and agreements and monitor (key) account compliance checks.
You will report findings to relevant Marketing and Sales functions.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Responsible for effective implementation of sales, distribution, and through-the-line marketing strategies including merchandising, shelf-space, and promotional programs as defined by the central and regional M&S team. Monitors implementation progress, as well as the quality of materials used, and recommends corrective action where necessary;
- Responsible for field intelligence and data gathering through sales force automation tool provided;
- Responsible for planning input, execution of KPI monitoring, and reporting results to the Regional Sales Director, including, but not exclusive, sales volume, pricing, stock management, and brand listings;
- Responsible for direct and indirect customers' interface and trade relationship management;
- Responsible for the sales rolling forecast, LE, AP, and SP input, and plans for the assigned territory;
- Responsible for the market/area budget planning and budget utilization in an effective and compliant manner;
- In conjunction with appropriate function initiate/terminate 3rd party relationships (contracts) regarding in-store promotional and advertising activities;
- Responsible for providing input and implementing (key) account plans, and KA agreements and monitoring (key) accounts compliance.
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- University degree or equivalent is preferable;
- 5 years experience in sales & distribution/channel management/field trade marketing. Experience in consumer/trade promotions management;
- Advanced level of English knowledge – knowledge of additional language is a plus;
