Work Schedule: Flexible working hours between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday - Friday. Minimum 10 hours per week.

Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing or Spring/Ongoing if mutually agreed upon

Pay Rate: 7.25/hr

Job Description:

The right candidate will be expected to have a strong work ethic, present a positive attitude, and prioritize the needs of the department. 
Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to work, complete all assigned tasks, have great customer service skills, and provide general office assistance and support.
Must maintain regular and punctual attendance and assist department faculty and staff with various projects, activities, and administrative and clerical tasks. 
Must have knowledge or experience with social media and content strategies and be able to develop and create content, post relevant material, and interact on social media. 
Must answer phones, direct calls, and promptly greet and direct visitors with a professional presence and excellent communication skills. 
Must be able to comply with University policies and maintain confidentiality of files, reports, student, project, and program information.
Will be needed to assist with occasional department events, setting/cleaning up, attending and photographing these events when possible. 
Must maintain personal and shared space, cleaning, tidying, organizing, filling supplies, etc.
Will be required to design flyers, information sheets and invitations as needed. 

  • Provide general office assistance and support  
  • Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information 
  • Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information  
  • Assist with various projects, activities or tasks as needed  
  • Ability to comply with University policies  
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
