Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). In this role, you will support the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM) in the Space and Missile Defense (SMD) line of business. The HRBP will provide leadership and collaborate to provide cohesive support to facility, including coaching, guidance and counsel in the areas of: labor and employee relations, workforce planning, organizational design, labor cost management, positive employee relations, talent management and leadership development, promotion planning, compensation, benefits, investigations and disciplines, employee engagement and performance management, HR metrics and analytics.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge in broad HR functional skills, for example, (Staffing, Employee Relations, Compensation, Labor Relations or other). As a trusted human capital advisor, the HRBP must build strong relationships and partner with clients and leadership, anticipating needs to proactively identify areas for collaboration and integration inside and outside the HR organization. The HRBP must consistently engage with key stakeholders in business and HR organizations locally and remain connected with FBM and greater HR and Labor Relations teams at other LM locations.

Some travel and willingness to work extended hours on occasion is required.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access; must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must obtain an interim DOD Secret security clearance prior to start with ability to obtain and maintain Final Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business or a related field
-Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
-Ability to clearly articulate strong career interest in the field of Human Resources
-Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
