Brown & Brown is seeking an Aviation Account Manager to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN! 

 

The Aviation Account Manager provides high quality customer service while assisting in the coordination of services between the customer and carrier. Participates in the marketing process and provides clerical support to the team. 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

 

  • Responds directly and promptly to customer inquiries and requests while keeping the rest of the team advised. 

  • Accurately prepares, processes, reviews and monitors various documents such as certificates of insurance, binders, audits, endorsements, renewal information request forms, draft of insurance specifications, draft of proposals, etc.  

  • Collects and analyzes customer exposure data and claims history. 

  • Promptly responds to routine requests for data and questions from customers, underwriters and team members.  

  • Develops and maintains customer service plan, manages mid-term coverage changes and assists in annual stewardship reviews.  

  • Responsible for new customer setup and ongoing customer maintenance in the agency management system. This includes such duties as: filing documents and updating customer information into the system, tracking the status of open items, providing documents to customers and team members as requested. 

  • Meets with prospects and customers as needed to enhance knowledge of insurance programs.  

  • Assists with new account development, including review of the account to explore possibility of uninsured or underinsured exposures.  

  • Participates in the marketing process. This includes such duties as contacting markets, initiating new business, reviewing quotes, preparing coverages and proposals.  

  • Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned. 

 

Licenses and Certifications:  

 

  • Licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in applicable state. Participates in continuing education in order to maintain the appropriate level of credentials. 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
 

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.  

  • 3 or more years related experience preferred 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven commitment to high quality customer service.  

  • Strong attention to detail.  

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks to maximize the number of customers that can be ass
