The Short & Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) Sub-Strategic Business Unit within Raytheon’s Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit has an immediate need for an Earned Value Management Lead to deliver a monthly IPMDAR via SAP/PMXTools on the strategic Next Generation Short Range Interceptor (NGSRI) contract. The cost-plus NGSRI contract was competitively awarded to Raytheon as one of two prime contractors to develop a replacement missile for the aging Stinger missile for the US Army, US Marine Corp, and potentially other US Forces and international customers. This phase of the program is to design, develop, and test a prototype solider-portable surface to air missile and win the competitive down-select for future production contracts. This is a Major program and Key Strategic Pursuit for the company with high level engagement that could be a career defining opportunity. Your contributions will directly serve in supporting today’s warfighters who are currently using Stingers to defend the freedom and independence of Ukraine.

This role will be onsite in Tucson, AZ (Bldg. M09). This role will be responsible for meeting the Contract Data Requirements list (CDRLs) including IPMDAR and CSDR. To meet these deliveries, you’ll partner with a multi-functional program team including CAMs and IPT Leads, joining one other finance analyst supported by a Senior Finance Manager.

What You Will Do:

  • Process Baseline Change Requests (BCRs)

  • Execute a variety of program and financial control actions, including supporting Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), External Reporting (IPMDAR), Monthly

  • Utilize a comprehensive suite of program controls tools (Business Warehouse (BW), Analysis for Office (A/O), SAP/APEX, PMX Tool Suite) to provide targeted EVMS analysis that drives efficiencies and meets internal and external EVMS compliance standards

  • Collaborate with key functional leaders in the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, as well as Leadership Team to support financial reviews and execution of a $20M+ Post-Production Support program

  • Provide timely support for as hoc data reporting to meet the evolving needs of the organization

  • Support CAMs in development of variance analysis

  • Support quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) and analyze vs Latest Revised Estimates (LRE)

  • Prepare weekly and monthly program reports

  • Provide support for internal/external program reviews with key team members

  • Partner with PM and Planning for EV implementation

  • Ad-hoc support and analysis

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & 8 years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5 years finance work experience

  • Experience in EVMS, Program Controls, and/or Cost/Schedule Integration

  • Experience with SAP, forProject, RTX Tool Suite or similar tools

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced in APEX EV and working knowledge of the SAP functions.

  • Cadence and schedule inspired to meet CDRLs accurately and on-time.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.

  • Ability to provide in depth analysis of complex data

  • Understanding of RTX financial and accounting policies and procedures

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure with both internal and external customers

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Experience in the creation, assessment, or review of external reporting experience: Contract Performance Report (CPR), Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), or Integrated Prog
