Nightwing is seeking an experienced and cleared Transportation/Logistics Support officer to perform warehouse and transportation duties in support of the U.S. Government. 

The right candidate for this job will be responsible for packing and transporting material and equipment to local facilities.  They will also be required to coordinate efforts across the team to meet, including transportation and logistical support for customer missions.

*** Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with Poly and must be eligible for crossover. ***

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience driving straight box trucks as large as 26’ to transport material and equipment to local facilities

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Must have a clean driving record

• Experience in logistical support: packing, shipping/receiving, warehousing/storage support

• Certification and/or willingness to become certified to operate forklifts to support loading dock and warehousing functions

• Familiar with customer specific applications for equipment management and work flow

• Experience in accountable property management, inventory, tracking and control

• Experience with ordering supplies

• Results and detail oriented with the ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Team player with good communication and organization skills

• Ability to follow through with communications and completing actions required to satisfy task deliverables

• Excellent written and verbal skills, highly literate in desktop computing and application programs (Microsoft Office Suite)

• MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLY CLEARANCE

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of the Customer field environment

• Knowledge of Customer procedures, processes and systems/tools

Additional Requirements:

• Willing to work until 4:30 PM (Monday thru Friday) and later when situation demands

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of relevant work experience

• Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
